We’re About To Get Dirty….

Dirty Girl gaiters, that is!dirty girl

We placed an order online today for these lightweight breathable gaiters. We already have the heavy duty kind, but we came to the conclusion that they will be put to best use only in snowy/wet conditions. We need a lighter-weight option for the rest of the trail. Gaiters prevent dirt, pebbles, thorns, cactus needles and other miscellaneous sharp objects from entering your shoes and socks while you’re hiking…very important for preventing blisters and other painful foot situations!

Dirty Girls are fun because there’s so many wild and unique prints to choose from. So many, in fact, that we couldn’t choose just one print each, so we got two.

Paul’s prints are the top two, Katherine’s prints are the bottom two. She’s particularly excited about the “FoXy” print!

**Update**

The Dirty Girls have arrived! We are pleased with them so far. They require a bit of upfront work, but once they are on, they feel weightless and silky…somehow better than air!
